The DM series mantles all feature an integral digital temperature controller linked by a sensor probe which is inserted directly into the flask. The liquid temp is shown on a clear LED display the desired temperature is set using a push button and potentiometer.
The elements are insulated from the case by moulded silica powder to give excellent thermal insulation and very low case temperatures. A soft fibre glass woven mantle provides good impact protection and the close surface contact allows optimum heat transmission to the flask. Case contstruction - Steel, with chemically resistant coationg Thermal insulation - Moulded silica powder. Heating element - Nichrome wire Element temp. - To a max of 400'C Sensor Probe : CA (K) Type, 4.8mm Dia x 200mm Long : 1.5m lead. Power supply - 110 or 220V AC Temp. range options - Low to 100'C max, Medium to 200'C max.
